Required Vaccinations for Cat Boarding
One of the most important factors to consider when choosing a cat boarding facility is vaccination requirements. A reputable facility will require all cats to be up to date on their vaccinations to ensure the health and safety of all animals in their care. Below is a list of the required vaccinations your cat must be up to date on to board at our facility. If your cat needs any of our required vaccines before boarding, we are more than happy to schedule an office visit with one of our veterinarians. Vaccines must be administered at least 10 days before your cat’s boarding date.
Required Vaccination:
- Rabies
- FVRCP
Annual Parasite Testing
What to Bring & Not to Bring
- Please do not bring bowls, bedding, or toys. We will provide bowls and bedding for your cat. You also do not need to bring a little box, however, if your cat uses special litter, please bring enough for their stay.
- Please bring sufficient portions of your cat’s typical food. Changing food suddenly can cause stomach upset. If you can’t or forget to bring their food, we will provide dry Hills Science Diet Maintenance and/or Proplan Chicken and Rice at no additional cost.
- If your cat is on any medication, please bring in the original packaging, and make sure our team is aware of your cat’s medical requirements when you book their boarding stay.
