From video education to hosting our annual food drive, attending local non-profit events to volunteering at schools, the medical team at Bay Ridge Animal Hospital and Annapolis Cat Hospital is dedicated to giving back to the community. As an animal hospital, we understand that we play a pivotal role in animal care education and we endeavor to support organizations working to end animal suffering. We’re pretty sure you can tell we love using videos to spread tips and tools for animal welfare. Our “Grow Old With You” video series; film’s from the pet’s perspective, is another one of our favorite ways to share our knowledge on animal companion health with the community.
"Dr. Rudd Goes To School"
In this short video montage titled “Dr. Rudd Goes To School,” Dr. Rudd gives the students of Bellows Spring Elementary School a hands-on look into the life of a Veterinarian. Students participated in an animal physical exam, looked through various animal x-rays and took home some exciting medical tools including syringes, surgical caps and masks.

In this short video montage titled “Dr. Rudd Goes To Camp,” Dr. Rudd gives the students of Club Scientific Chesapeake a hands-on look into the life of a Veterinarian. Students participated in an animal physical exam, looked through various animal x-rays and learned how to splint a leg.

Annapolis Cat Hospital and Bay Ridge Animal Hospital are proud supporters of Anne Arundel Country’s local SPCA. We mark our calendars every year for the annual SPCA Walk and ensure we’ve got plenty of goodies to giveaway to every attendee.
AAC SPCA Puppy Plunge
Annapolis Cat Hospital and Bay Ridge Animal Hospital joined the 2013 2nd Annual Puppy Plunge for the first time and plan on attending the event every year.
