Meet Dr. Mary Wilkinson
Dr. Mary Wilkinson earned her Bachelor of Veterinary Medicine (BVetMed) from the Royal Veterinary College in London in 2023 after completing a Bachelor's degree in Comparative Veterinary Pathology there in 2021. She also graduated from Murray State University with a Bachelor's degree in Veterinary Technology in 2018 and was licensed as a Veterinary Technician (LVT) in Virginia prior to and throughout veterinary school.
Dr. Wilkinson's passion for veterinary medicine began in high school, where she first enrolled in veterinary science courses. She has dedicated more than a decade to studying and practicing veterinary medicine, building a strong foundation in both veterinary nursing and veterinary medicine.
Her professional interests include clinical pathology and backyard poultry medicine, and she enjoys helping clients better understand their pets' health through diagnostics and compassionate care.
Outside the hospital, Dr. Wilkinson stays busy tending her large vegetable garden, crocheting intricate lace, scrapbooking, and sewing. She also enjoys spending time with her four cats—Mowgli, Bagheera, Babar, and Tavi. Lately, she's taken on the challenge of learning to play mahjong and is always excited to improve her skills.
